Stay connected folks! I’ve got the Huawei Mate 10 Pro review coming up shortly this week, well, at least that’s what I’m hoping to have completed. A perspective view of what the device is, what I can do, how it feels, the UI environment and much more. You’ll just have to stay tuned to this channel and come back later.
For now, let’s have at some of the specification for this device:
OS | Android 8.0 (Oreo) |
Chipset | Hisilicon Kirin 970 |
CPU | Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) |
GPU | Mali-G72 MP12 |
Primary | Dual 20 MP +12 MP, f/1.6, OIS, 2x lossless zoom, Leica optics, phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash |
Features | Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, HDR |
Video | 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps |
Secondary | 8 MP, f/2.0 |
So far, I’m very much in love with the Leica camera, it’s taken some of the best pictures I’ve seen in a while, compared to the Pixel 2 XL, it’s pretty on part with that device. The fluidity of the device makes it a breeze to multi-task and by far it’s the best experience I’ve had in a while. The Orea version we’ve got on this is the EMUI flavour, this might put some people off, but I’ve been used to it and I’m ok with it.
At a glance, this baby looks like it flys by itself, but, what do you think after a week or so of usage? I’ll be talking all about that in the upcoming release. I’ve been really stoked about this smartphone more so than the Pixel 2 XL. In the end, it’s a personal preference, right?
