Most laptops and desktop offers audio port for the 3.5mm jack and some odd instances they start not to work anymore. OMG, what to do besides panicking? AUKEY offers a really cheap alternative that will give you audio sound and microphone input.
Might be good to say that this device won’t replace a “real” sound card with a DAC. However, for more people who might be in need of getting decent sound because of X reasons the port you already have don’t work this will do the job for $12.99 CAD.
The CB-V13 from AUKEY offers you the sound you need at a very affordable price and might just save you if you’re in a pinch. One of those items you can easily toss into a tech bag for the off chances you’ll need sound and microphone use.
- Compatible with 32-bit & 64-bit Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10.
- No drivers required and no complicated setup, just plug it in.
Kind of hard to pass up on something that can be quite useful.
Let’s talk about the quality of the sound, it’s actually decent and I have no problem listening to my songs, I do have some issues when it comes to the muffled MID’s and the very high trebles for which seems to sound like it was being passed through the “Windows Enhancement” for Virtual Room effect.
Trust me, I’ve checked the settings aren’t turned on.
The CB-V13 comes in at $12.99 on Amazon Canada and for the price, you get a decent adapter that will give you access to a 3.5mm jack for your earphones and a MIC in for those times when you need to video-in or chat online.
